My name is Martyn Stokes and I am 37 years old, married to Vanessa, with 3 children, Kieren aged 9, Coral 7 and Maeley who's nearly 2.
I am the sole proprietor of "The Word" Christian Bookshop which is not funded by any church or organisation. I believed God to be telling me to leave my job at the beginning of this year (2001) and, as my wife and I prayed to discern God's Will we were led to open the shop on 26th May 2001.
I had previously worked for a Solicitor dealing with house conveyancing.
