THE TROPHY ROOM
First the Society's own, general, trophy:

being The Doug Lilley Memorial Trophy, created by membership subscription following the death of G3FDF. By Rule this Trophy is presented to the licensed member and the non-licensed member (each to hold for 6 months consecutively following the AGM) who, by the vote of the members present at the AGM, have respectively done the most for the Society during the preceding year and made the most progress towards obtaining a licence during the same period.
The Lions International Team Cup - presented by LIONS INTERNATIONAL

This Trophy was won by the Society's Contesting Group for 3rd place in 1987 and outright in 1989
in the "World 'Chasing Lions' Contest".
The G6KQP TROPHY hand-made by Howard Miles and presented to successive winners of the Society's Annual Construction Contest.
The G4RPS MEMORIAL TROPHY - presented by Richard Wander for annual competition in the Society's Annual Fox Hunt.
The CLUB QUIZ TROPHY - presented by Loughborough Amateur Radio Club for annual competition in the immediate district.

This Trophy was won by the Society's Quiz Teams in the years 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001.
The Society were awarded these Certificates for achieving:
- second place in the Portable, 10W Section of the RSGB LOW POWER CONTEST 2000
- first place on the 10W Portable Section of the RSGB LOW POWER CONTEST 2002
